Canadian directory of brand name input allowed in organic agriculture
The Canadian organic standards specify the generic substances that may be used in organic production, but they do not specify the product brand names that are acceptable.
In response to the widely stated need for a quick reference on acceptable brand-name products, the OFC is investing time and money to develop a directory that Canadian producers, processors and certifiers can consult online to see which brand names products are permitted in Canadian organic production.
The Canadian Directory of Brand Name Inputs Allowed in Organic Agriculture identifies permitted products by the brand names of their manufacturers and avoids the need to pick through the sometimes lengthy ingredient lists on product labels.Click on http://organicinputs.ca/ to visit OFC directory, managed by Peppersoft.
